Loved your talk, Liz.One of the things I loved about Last Chance Cafe was the intergenerational friendships. It is something I have done in my novel Streets on a Map too.

Hi Liz, I have your web site on my bookmarks I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know. I wanted to say, I've been listening to your nightlife talk, second half tomorrow. I am depressed because of the landslide against our former Premier Anna Bligh. I truly can't think why there was this anger - I am aware of all the issues but just don't get it. Is it because she is a woman? She achieved a lot,it is strange in the media in politics men do 'backflips' but women tell 'lies'!!! Have you, or will you write a novel or something with a political woman in the centre of it? I haven't read all your books yet, so you may have done this. I've decided that Qld is suffering from a collective depression because of the floods a year ago and more now. Best wishes for 2012, looking forward to hearing about your new book, cheers Dianne
